This little gem while having undoubted technical limits, of Fire still manages to (Thanks to the willing boys) real pearls programming!
It’ just wandering on the network to realize the many existing projects underway for this wonderful machine.
For this reason I have decided to offer readers a real Retrogaming Planet guide “Do it yourself” Spectrum to connect to your home TV using a cable COMPOSITE Instead of the usual aerial socket.

Ottimo articolo, anche se devo confessare che il mio primo Speccy subì un intervento ‘chirurgico’ di quel tipo dopo poco tempo, perché non sopportavo il collegamento standard via cavo d’antenna e lo adattai subito per portare il segnale via SCART (completo di audio) al TV Mivar inizialmente, e in seguito a un monitor Antarex a fosfori verdi… che insieme all’installazione di una tastiera ‘seria’ con tanto di tastierino numerico resero il povero Speccy una sorta di mostro di Frankenstein :)
BDB mi fa davvero piacere ospitare questa tua testimonianza sulle pagine virtuali di Retrogaming Planet!
Praticamente hai anticipato il mio articolo di circa vent’anni o forse piu…ma sentir parlare di televisori Mivar e monitor a fosfori verdi nel 2011 mi fa sempre un certo effetto, avendoli comunque usati anche io negli anni ’80 (anche se al Mivar ci collegavo l’Atari 2600 eheheh).
Peccato non ci siano foto d’epoca a supporto di quanto hai scritto!!
